Alcohol and Other Drugs Treatment for Adolescents (ages 11-18) – Our experienced and highly trained staff works closely with parents, caregivers, schools and juvenile court systems to assist adolescents who are struggling with substance use disorders. Using a variety of interventions, including the Seven Challenges model, Unison’s approach is to collaborate with teens through group and individual treatment to help them gain and maintain sobriety.

Alcohol and Other Drugs Treatment for Adults (ages 18 and up) – Using the Matrix Model, our goal is to work closely with adults struggling with substance use disorders to assist them in achieving and maintaining sobriety and to educate them on ways to maintain a sober lifestyle during and after completion of the program. We provide clients with a variety of services including group treatment, individual counseling, family counseling and case management to help meet individualized goals. Clients also have access to specialized groups such as interactive parenting, co-dependency and trauma that utilize evidence-based curricula.

Dual Recovery – Caring for adult clients with a severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) and co-occuring substance use disorder. Services include group treatment, individual counseling, case management and psychiatric services.

Medication Assisted Treatment – Unison provides an outpatient medication assisted withdrawal program in which clients receive medical services and support, opiate replacement medication, group and individual therapy.

Other Addictive Services (Eating Disorders, Gambling, etc) –Individuals receive a comprehensive mental health and addictive behavior assessment and from those results an individualized care plan is developed.

As a result, our average completion rate for outpatient treatment for those 12 years old and over is 24% higher than the national average. *

Sub-Acute Detoxification Residential Program

– Unison Health operates a 16-bed medically monitored inpatient detoxification unit, providing 24 hour medically supervised detox services. Staffed with caring individuals, the team is appropriately credentialed and trained to treat adults admitted to this program who are ready to detox from drugs and or alcohol.
Located at Unison’s 1212 Cherry Street location, the facility offers private, semi-private, and shared rooms. The average length of stay is five to seven days - although stages of recovery differ for every individual.
The path to wellness is heavily dependent on continued treatment and the ability to effectively address social, medical or behavioral health issues. Unison Health provides clients access to our full continuum of individualized services to support clients in their journey – including behavioral health and primary care services.
