The People You Know. The Care You Deserve.
Unison Health is excited to welcome new faces to our family of dedicated professionals as we expand our substance abuse and behavioral health services into Wood County. From our location at 1084 S. Main St. in Bowling Green, we will be offering services that had previously been available through Family Service of Northwest Ohio.
We recognize we have a responsibility to maintain the level of service the people of Wood County are accustomed to, and that’s something we take seriously. Great care has been taken to ensure continuity is as seamless as possible. We will continue to provide counseling for families, couples and individuals, as well as group therapy services such as anger management and grief counseling. We will continue to assist people with the management of their medications.
Aeryn Williams, Program Manager of the Bowling Green Facility, says, “Wood County has its own unique characteristics and unique needs. The people here recognize that fact, and going forward, we will continue to offer a place Wood County can rely on for psychological and psychiatric support when they need it most.”
For individuals who have previously experienced chronic homelessness, frequent hospitalizations and/or involvement in the criminal justice system, Unison Health offers an intensive approach to therapy through the Assertive Community Treatment team. It’s proven highly effective for people who struggle with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder or major depressive disorder.
As part of ensuring continuity of care for the community, relationships with courts, providers and other agencies will also remain intact. Stakeholders throughout Wood County will follow the same procedures, and services such as diagnostic assessments and case management will continue without interruption.
Our goal is to see that the needs of the people of Wood County are met with the same level of excellence they have come to expect. If you have questions — or if you know someone in Wood County who would benefit from our services — call us at 419-352-4624.
Unison Health’s promise to the people of Wood County:
You will have access to the same therapist you’ve been seeing.
You will still call the same number with questions about your care.
We will strive to ensure complete continuity of care for you and your loved ones!
