Services for Uninsured and Underinsured

Unison Health strives to ensure that our clients, including those who are uninsured or underinsured, receive the best and most affordable care. Depending on household income, Lucas and Wood County clients could be eligible to access all of the services that Unison Health offers at a discounted rate. As a matter of fact, many Lucas and Wood County clients are eligible for free services at Unison Health. This discount is eligible to Lucas and Wood County residents even if they are insured by private, Marketplace or Medicare insurance plans. Prior to seeing a therapist or prescriber for the first time, Unison Health’s registration staff will assess whether Lucas and Wood County residents are eligible for discounted services and/or Ohio Medicaid.

Coverage for Ohio Residents

Ohio residents who do not have health insurance coverage could be eligible for Ohio Medicaid. Ohio Medicaid assists those in need to obtain services and programs to strengthen the health and well-being of its consumers. To learn more about Medicaid programs and eligibility, go to Ohio Benefits.

Michigan residents are not eligible for Ohio Medicaid or discounted services at Unison Health.
